Choose from over 40 teams in FIFA International Soccer for the Sega Game Gear. The four modes of play include: Exhibition, Tournament, Playoffs, and League. Exhibition games are single games where the user plays against the computer opponent as no two-player option is included. The tournament allows players to go for the World Cup by advancing through the ranks. Playoffs skip part of the tournament and have teams playing a shorter number of games in order to win the World Cup. League play gives players the opportunity to play every team in their league twice while trying to become the league champion.<br><br>Options are provided that give you the ability to set the length of games, choose whether you want fouls or not, select action or simulation, and pick the field type. During play you can set team strategies and formations, as well as change your starting line-up. Perfect opportunity to play a vintage sports sim
This game was in exceptional condition for a vintage used title. I especially liked how the protective case was included. It ran very well instantly, without me having to clean the contact pins like I usually have to with Sega Game Gear cartridges. Now, on to the game itself.... The gameplay is kind of frustrating if you have become spoiled and accustomed to recent-gen soccer sims. That was of course the norm in that era of gaming, so I got exactly what I paid for. Not all old-school games were great. And this one is an example of one that is not-so-great. But I'll have to practice! :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
