This Intel Xeon six-core processor has an integrated DDR3 memory controller, which enables three channels of ECC DDR3 RAM that gives an output speed of up to 32 GB per second. The Intel Xeon W3680 3.33 GHz computer processor operates on a frequency of 3.3 GHz and has a front side bus speed of 1333 MHz. This Intel Xeon six-core processor has full 64-bit support and when combined with the built-in Intel virtualization technology, it is able to decode and read software-based virtualization programs from vendors such as Virtual PC, Xen Source, and VMware. This Intel Xeon six-core processor is also able to consolidate multiple environments down into a single server to reduce resource costs and conserve server power. W3250 Quad core or Intel Xeon W3680 3.33GHz 6 Core?
But for a mere $75 well worth the price I would buy it again. It pushes every game produced in 2017 that calls for i5 or i7. My video card is maxed at 100% upgrading (waiting for it now). But my son has the W3250 with the upgraded video card and it is pushing easily every game from 2017 so far that calls for an I7. Excellent for gaming. This cpu is plenty powerful my PC is Bottlenecking at a 10000RPM 600mb a second Hard drive so upgrading to a ssd I bought it to replace my Xeon W3250 I have no idea how this works on a server... but for gaming no need for 6 cores. I love the Xeon don't get me wrong but for gaming 6 cores means nothing. I haven't figured out how to utilize 6 cores on a regular desktop. I bet it works excellent on a server, I love this chip. I will let you know more when my RAM, Video Card and ssd drive come in.
