It is a lot of help....I can see that I CAN do this!
It is very well done. I learn at the very beginning what equipment, pain, etc. I need. Then there's a section that shows me in detail how to create the mountains, clouds, etc. so I can easily refer to what I need as I paint. Each lesson is laid out well and is nicely illustrated. It is mad as simple and easy as it can be in a book. What I have learned, though, is even with all this help, it takes a lot of time invested and practice. Not so easy as Bob makes it seem. :) Still....with this book I can see progress and hope of beautiful creations if I keep on. Now I can see how. Before mixing colors and laying out painting was way beyond my skill set. Lots of fun and relaxation in exploring this wonderful experience of painting a beautiful scene.
