A good fit.
Installed on a 87 Dakota. Using the factory bumper brackets, it fit between them perfectly. I did have to add two 9/16 holes in the bumper plate to align with the OEM brackets. No big deal. Must require special mounting kit. Removed original bumper and had to re drill holes for center mounts. Had to weld side supports to frame mount and nut and bolt to top of bumper to make it sturdy, didn't want to weld bumper and burn powder coat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not a perfect fit but great for the price.
Was a great price. It doesn't cover the lateral sides of the truck like the stock bumper, and the holes didn't match on the 2nd bolt pattern. I was able to mount it using only two of the 4 bolts that mounted the stock bumper. Nice license plate kit equipped with mounts and license plate light- wiring.

Great bumper .... but....
Only problem mounting it on my 1995 Dodge Dakota was that it needed one more hole on each side to fit my bumper mounts. It was very difficult to drill the holes needed and took a small angle drill to put the holes in. One more hole would have made the installation tons easier. Nice sturdy bumper though. Better Than Stock
I'm very pleased with this bumper. It looks very nice on my truck and is sturdy. It's made from thick steel and was a breeze to install. Be advised that a mounting kit is required and is sold separately. It does come with two license plate lights and it didn't impede my trailer hitch receiver one bit. I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota and the stock bumper wasn't nearly as strong as this one is. In my opinion, this one looks much nicer than the stock bumper too. I'm happy to have this one and be rid of the stock bumper.

Not exact fit
