works great, be sure you have correct big block frame mounts.
These fit well, assuming you have the correct engine perch on the frame. 1972 C10 and similar trucks use different perch between small block and big block, they are available online. Originally i had the small block perches and was disappointed. Did have to shave the flanges a little on each head bolt because the Stud kit uses a bit more room. I used a smaller Starter and wrapped the headders nearest to the starter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Headers fit pretty good on my 80 gmc . Clears the frame,starter and the steering . They do sit a little low to the ground . My truck is lowered and I had to raise it up two inches just to drive it .
