Title is accurate
After trying several other methods with no results I bought one of these and caught the first mole within 2 days. Moved to the front yard and got the second mole and now don't see much activity. These are easy to set (just step down on it - it straddles the tunnel) and it uses no bait. Couldn't be simpler. I would give it 5 stars but haven't had it long and I'm waiting to see how it holds up over time. Disappointed
I've had the traps for about two weeks am disappointed overall.The traps are heavy duty, but maybe too much so. I have lots of moles and tunnels, but, to date, this trap seems too stiff to catch them. It is hard to set (takes lots of pressure) and is not sensitive. I have moles working the tunnels on both side of my traps, and have yet to have one spring the trap even though I check and move them to the freshest tunnels almost every day. The Only Mole Trap That Really Works
The Wire-Tek Mole Eliminator is the only mole trap that really works. Other brands without the metal plates on each side don't work nearly as well. as they aren't balanced properly. Don't settle for anything less. Sometimes the mole still gets away, but you will eventually catch it. It is very easy to insert into the mole run and set. If you don't like moles this is the only trap to buy, I have trapped 100 plus moles with the USA trap, I have used the cheaper china made they will catch a mole every so often, you just don't want to waste an opportunity in catching one when you can. Mole Trap
I bought this product to kill moles in my yard,when I recieved it I thought this trap is pretty big to kill a mole the size of a small mouse. The mole hole is about 2 inches in diameter,to use the trap I had to enlarge the hole 3 times bigger. The bottom line is unless you have moles that are the size of a small ground hog don't waste your money. IF the mole were able to spring the trap he would never be killed because the opening he is in is ten times bigger than the mole.
