Exactly what I needed to get my Dremel up and running. Easy to replace and a great price for a pack of 5. If the bit on your Dremel doesn't spin do not throw it out and buy a new one. Open it up by removing the 6 torx screws and check the coupling. Chances are it's broken. Put in a new one and you are good to go. Original coupling lasted 20 years!

Dremel tool working again
Fits and made my Dremel tool work again. It is a bit of work to get it apart and then back together but doable. I would think that many owners would think the tool is done for but that collar is there for a reason (saving your drive shaft and motor). I am pleased that the part can be bought on line. This is the one part that seems to fail after a few years service. Wish that it was made of more durable material. Guess that it is supposed to keep one from "burning up" the motor with extended periods of continuous heavy usage. These are a good value for the price
The only thing is the material there made of gets a little harder and more brittle as the Dremel gets hot if you use it like I do on anything from my models to my guns. I thought that I had destroyed like 3 dremels and either gave them away or just threw them out because I never took them apart till now ,and found that part destroyed . So now I find these replacements and it's going to save me a lot of cash not having to buy another machine every time it brakes I think I am going to look into the brushes and there caps too because I've had a few of them pop out as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
