Daddario exl 120 strings are the best strings for all around playing!
When I bought a new guitar I asked for different brands, and the clerk told me what he played with on his guitar, then he showed me some of the music he played... I was amazed by the strength of the strings. And though the guitar shop closed, as the owners wanted to retire, and sold everything they had, they left me some good advice. Best Strings Out There Hands Down
Been using D`Add`s exclusively now for the past 40 yrs. No other strings can hold their tune, outlast the performance and tone as good as these. There are other great strings out there, but cannot compare in all three categories as these do. Also, it takes a lot for me to break one of these. I am a lead guitar player that bends strings a hell of a lot. When I`m strumming, I strum hard! Can`t remember the last time I changed a set before one broke on me. Sound great and I've never had a badly made one from the factory over the course of years.
These D'Addario strings have always worked and sounded great for me. I have never had a bad string from them out of a package, whereas I have had several bad strings right out of several different packages over the years with Ernie Ball strings. So, I just always buy D'Addario strings now, and the EXL sets are the best all-around for great tone and long life. My brand of strings
Nothing but good to say about D'Addario strings. I play 5,6 string bass and guitar. All their strings work very well. Smooth finish, excellent construction, tunes easily and no strange harmonics like some DR strings gave me some years ago. And they last a long time, for me. Best Super Light Set of electric guitar strings.
The D'Addario EXL 120 are my favorite Super Light string to play chords on my SLICK SL 50 guitar, I tried the Ernie Ball, but I like the feeling better with the D'Addario, and the price is more or less the same, but cheaper when you buy the 3 sets.
