A good design.
You just have to have one of these if you want to mount an extinguisher in your car. If mounted securely it will prevent the extinguisher from becoming a projectile in an accident. I gave 4 stars only because I do question the single spot weld on the stainless snap strap. I wish Kidde would eliminate the cheap plastic mounts and just use these metal ones!

The right part: Plastic mounts fail in vehicles.
This is the right bracket for putting a small Kidde fire extinguisher into a vehicle/boat. I'm using the one I bought to put the extinguisher into my utility vehicle. A flip of the clip on the band and the extinguisher is released and available for use.
