Good and seemingly durable product resulting in extra space
I purchased a set of six at a cost under 18.00 dollars and found that most sellers were offering the "similar" products for twenty dollars and much more. So shop wisely for these. Now to the results: able to put men's regular shoes (all a size 8 1/2 D) into these without any problems. One drawback is if you are putting chukka boots on a tiered shelf using the Slotz you must have at least a 11 inch clearance between shelves so as not to have to bend the top of the boot to get it to fit. You will possibly have to bend the top of the boot in order to place one of the boots on the lower part of the Slotz for there is not enough space for it to be totally upright. I did notice that this product had variations among it on-line. Some with color, some adjustable, some with sides raised so as to keep the shoes in place. The product I bought did not have these raised sides, which I think is a good idea, but I have not had any problem.
