  • Big bang for buck

After a simple initial set up and minor work on the nut this guitar plays really well and the pick ups are as good as any i own and I have five other telecaster‘s I really like the weight of this 7.6 pounds and I like the sustain that the Pine body gives it’s a keeper get one!!

  • Pretty damned good, but did need a little work

I bought the white blonde version of this. When I unpacked it, I noticed that the frets felt really scratchy, gritty. Took it in to my tech, who confirmed there were some tooling marks on the frets, and then did a complete fret polish. We adjusted the pickups, and set it up with 11-50 nickel strings. Some of the tuner screws were a little bit loose, fixed those. Tightened down the bridge screws, too. Installed straploks. I also went with Wilkinson compensated saddles for the bridge over the stock steel ones. I think that made a noticeable difference in the sound. Deeper, and woodier, too. All in all, it sounds superb, now. Plays effortlessly, even with the 11’s on it. If you get one, be sure to get it looked over, as it may need a little work to play it’s best. I look forward to playing this live, and on my recordings that are coming up. Oh, and get a hard case with it, you’ll be happy you did. 😊😊

  • Fantastic Tele!

Own a road worn fender Strat and an American made custom Santo Tele deluxe and the CV White Tele to me plays better than both. No fret buzz, and the fit and finish are perfect. Pickups sound like a classic Tele. Love the neck pickup. My Strat has fender custom shop 69 pickups and the CV Tele sounds on the same level, perhaps better. Also the road worn Strat has some frets that buzz some even after pro setup. Perhaps needs some more fret work. Not the CV Tele. Set up perfect and plays and sounds great. Looks and plays just great!! Update, the setup on this guitar is flawless! Have since played others and have not had the same experience. Buy with confidence from Cream City Music and ask for a setup before shipping. I think they do it anyway but it makes all the difference. Amazing guitar really at any price point and can't thank you enough for the great setup!

  • Great value item.

Awesome guitar for the money. A little heavy but that's okay by me.

  • I’m impressed!

I’m impressed with the guitar! Was a bit skeptical being made in Indonesia but the craftsmanship is perfect. No complaints!
