Heavy Hitter for Peanuts!
I have owned and reviewed dozens of Home Cinema products, of which Pioneers range of VSX amps/receivers have been the most joyful to get ones hands on. They are rarely simple to set up, but the MCACC auto system calibrator works fantastically, especially on this example. The SC-LX73 is a step above the VSX range. And at this price point one also gets tuning from the audio specialists 'AIR' Studios. The transparency and lift to what you are used to, via your own speaker set up, is unreal! Used with my all Mission 75 series, 7/9.1, set up this amp simply sings, whether fed A/V audios sources or straight stereo.
