This motor is an insurance policy for AZ very HOT Summer AC condenser failures. I had one go out on me in June 2022. I tested the ease of moving the fan blades on the other two AC condensers and one was very free, but the third moved less freely and stopped sooner. That to me means that, that AC condenser fan motor is going to seize up sooner than later, so I purchase this fan motor when this happens. It is no fun being in a warm house in the 113 degree AZ heat. Lesson learned on my part is what I am trying to say. I am prepared now. I also bought capacitors for all three of the AC condenser units, as the caps are a point of failure also and should be changed out when a new fan motor is installed. The description say it is from the Nidec Corporation (s Japanese company), but it had an Interlink brand label on the motor. Either way, I am fine with this purchase and the cost. These motors do not have ball bearings in them. They have sleeve bearings that the oil drys up and wears out after a few years, due to friction with the shaft. It is cheaper to buy a new motor than to fix the existing one. AC service will cost $800. This motor and a little youTube knowledge saved me a lot of money. I would purchase again if needed.
