Kilmat is an excellent product and a real bang for the buck
This is an excellent product: easy to apply, less costly per square foot than other perhaps more established products, and highly effective. I've used it in a 1993 Volvo wagon, which was like a rolling steel barrel for road noise. One 75 sq ft pack spread over the rear wheel wells and rear quarter panels was sufficient to make a dramatic reduction in road noise. Same for my 1996 Caprice Classic wagon, although it took more material: about 100 sq ft. I've also used it in a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood to improve sound quality of the stereo system with excellent results.

The 50 sq ft box of Kilmat sound deadening mat was perfect to line the inside walls, back door, wheel wells and roof of my 159 inch wheel base, high roof Ram Promaster cargo van (100% coverage is not required). The product is easy to work with including cutting some smaller pieces to fit sections where a full 1 sqft mat would not fit. Installation is easy ... peel the backing, stick the mat on the sheet metal then use a roller to fully adhere the mat to the surface. Use a heat gun (gently) it makes a huge difference in attaching/forming to body contours, etc. Using 80mil on floor, front to back, and 50 mil on sides, roof, doors, etc. Pics Attached!!

Excellent value on Sound deadener!
50 mil sound deadening is ok, however I would highly recommend the 80 mil stuff. I have used both and get much better results from the 80 mil. The 50 mil isn't bad, you just have to use much more of it making the actual price per result about the same. Excellent value and quality!
Purchased killmat because it was of lower cost than others. Boy was I surprised . Came packaged well. Very easy to install. No smell and made a very noticeable difference in damping road noise and vibrating panels. I have it in my jeep cherokee and my honda civic. Great stuff!!

Best value for sound deadener I've found (and I've been looking for a long time)
It's kind of hard to make butyl rubber sandwiched between a sticker and some aluminum foil better than the other guys butyl rubber sandwiched between aluminum foil and a sticker but one thing you can do is not overcharge for it like some companies do ( cough cough dynamat cough) these guys however are reasonably priced. The box showed up quickly in good shape and the deadner itself looks to be of great quality I haven't been able to install it in my truck yet but if anything were to go wrong at this point it would probably be my fault and not the fault of the Kilmat. I’ve actually used this product in 3 of my cars 13 Veloster turbo 2005 Chevy Cobalt ss and now in my 2008 Acura TL this stuff is easy to install adheres instantly no matter what you stick it too. 50 mil should be just fine
I Found Kilmat to be easier to deal with than using sound deadener that comes in a roll. Being a bit more thin also makes it easier to work with, cutting, applying in tight spaces.
