I am a huge fan of Coleman but not there mantles.
Like all Coleman mantles, they are just to fragile, they are not the Silk lites of 30 years ago that where bright and lasted . I have given up on these. I stretched them out good first and burned them in with a match before lighting and still they developed a hole near the bottom. The Peerless 111 mantles are a far better choice in my Northstar Coleman fuel lantern and my Northern Nova, they are cheaper, so bright you need sun glasses and take a good bouncing around in a stiff ridding 4x4 and you can get 9 packs of 2 mantles for $15.00 .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
