SynopsisSometime in the early hours of June 16, 1959, George Reeves, the actor known to millions of kids as Superman, died of a gunshot to the head. The L.A.P.D. labeled the death a suicide. Some friends called it murder, and the evidence left behind a mystery. Here, for the first time, is the truth about the dangerous double life and tragic death of Reeves: the real events of that L.A. night set amid the glamour, allure, and sinister core of Tinseltown in the 1950s. • What was the real truth to what happened?

The book was in pretty good condition considering aging. I am not sure how accurate the content is considering this death was left as an unsolved.mystery. Mo one feels George Reebes death was an actial suicide. But the book is compelling and leaves the reader into "what really happened here?

  • Well-Researched Book and Interestingly Written

I enjoyed the book as it was well-researched and told me almost everything I wanted to know about George Reeves' death. Not sure I agree that he was murdered, however. But it was certainly interesting reading.
