I have bought 2 set, they are good quality and work well for near car to car calling, keeps from using cell phone, only complaint is they have a limited in sight range nothing near what is shown on package. It Lives .... AGAIN !!
I couldn't figure out why my Motorola Two-Way Radios weren't working properly anymore. Battery packs showed fully charged and everything would light and it all 'seemed' to be OK, but it wasn't. Then my 4 year old grand daughter said to me "Papa just put in new batteries and everything will be OK". Boy was she RIGHT!! I replaced the battery packs with regular AAA batteries and it worked Perfectly once again ! Better than expected
Radios had better range than expected. I tested the range from inside a large house to a position outside in a densely populated urban area and had clear communication for more than 1/2 mile (i.e. several blocks with no clear line of sight). Only con is, regardless of sensitivity setting, the iVOX without a headset only worked randomly with surrounding wind/traffic/people noise (headsets are included which will solve the problem if you are willing to wear them).Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
