A reliable filter at a good price.
A good filter at a fair price point. I use a UV filter in conditions where protecting the lens becomes difficult but necessary when left exposed to weather and other elements. Any negative effects on the image quality is debatable but I have not found image quality to be an issue. Hoya filters are well made and I have used Hoya filters for many years. I recommend Hoya UV lenses because they provide a good balance of quality and reasonable pricing.

A must have filter
This UV filter does a magnificent job at protecting my expensive lens and filtering out the UV rays. The filter also gives you better color saturation. The thin design of the filter allows you to put it on a very wide-angle lens without any blacking around the edges. Every photographer should have this filter in his gadget bag.
