    Nice lens or special applications

    In my opinion as a general photo enthusiast this lens is rather useful for special applications : real estate sales, landscape and architectural photos. Limited use for general photography. Also I find it is very tricky to use in backlit situations but pictures after post processing come out acceptable. Sharpness is marginal, construction excellent. In my particular case , this lens is attractive to play around and see what I can do with it, but will not replace my walk-around Tamron 17-50 f 2,8.

    My go-to lens

    It was my go-to lens for years until I switched to Sony. Not the fastest lens or the sharpest (especially not in the very corners at 10mm) but incredibly dependable and durable. For the prices your can find these at used, I don't know if there's a better ultra wide-angle zoom available for K-mount
