  It came in a previously used boxed. Taped up everywhere. Box was smashed on one side. The lanterns were beautiful tho one had a bent top that my husband fixed. Both lanterns leaked oil out of base by handle. we could not light them (fire hazard). We wanted to use them as working lanterns. Contacted seller who kept giving me the run around. They are now very expensive decorative pieces. I would not buy from this seller again.
