  The AC adapter arrived ahead of schedule, was securely packaged and was in new condition. Only problem, it did not work with my laptop. Can't fault the seller. He posted cautions in the listing regarding the tip size. My daughter had lost the original adapter, so I had nothing to compare to and just took a chance. Didn't work, my bad. I'm not even going to bother the seller for a return/refund. Was totally on me. Pricewise, for a new Dell unit, very competitive.
