  This does not appear to be an authentic mouthpiece. On receipt, the box was torn and plastic was taped up. Please see the picture attached. Left and Center are authentic Yamaha trumpet mouthpieces. On the right is the mouthpiece I received. The different plastic sleeve was taped, not sealed, shank contours are different; lettering is different. The cup was the wrong size and the rim the wrong contour. I emailed Yamaha Corporate: their CS said this seller is not an authorized retailer. I settled.

  The items received did not represent the authenticity of the advertised brand. The seller was unable to facilitate the return process and repeatedly attempted to offer partial refunds in lieu of securing return shipping. Getting a refund required a case to be opened with eBay customer care.
