About us

All Rare Media specializes in rare, out of print (OOP), and hard to find (HTF) media in all formats. Mostly CDs and DVDs but also vinyl records, VHS, video games, books, laserdiscs, CEDs, and even the occasional cassette or 8-track. I am just one person. I have no employees. All items are found, listed, packed, and mailed by me. I'm an avid collector (specifically of old horror movie stuff. Check out my account exclusively for horror items here: www.ebay.com/usr/littleshopofhorrors13). I'm a college professor and we don't get paid much so this is a hobby that also helps pay the bills.     Disc arrived fast, so that's a positive. Seller described as "New" which is technically true as it was wrapped and unopened, and disc inside is mint, but see photos. DVD was a "cutout" and case has a box cutter slice right through bar code right through case and paper insert. Also, another torn spot in the insert. I would never describe a DVD like this as "new" without mentioning issues or at least including a photo. I can't recommend this seller.
