  The Sony DVD/CD Remote Control I received is just as described verbally and as photographed, and works just fine with my machine. Photo clarity was sufficient to permit me to inspect the battery compartment for signs of corrosion on the battery terminals. This remote was purchased to replace my own which had succumbed to alkaline battery rot over time and finally committed suicide! Carefully packed and arrived with no damage, and with free shipping.
