About us

We are your one stop disguise shop in the Rochester, NY area for over 68 years. Arlene’s was founded in 1956 when Arlene Stephens and her mother Mildred “Molly” Stephens ran Arlene’s out of a small store on East Main Street in Rochester. Arlene and Molly saw children in the neighborhood wearing garbage bags on Halloween and decided to start making costumes for kids. That, of course, was just the beginning.

Arlene and her professional staff are focused on assisting you in making your corporate event, birthday party, theater production, special event or Halloween party unforgettable!

    I am defently impressed with this seller between the two different sellers I purched this product from this came in a box protecting it during shipping the other seller shipped in a bag an it came damaged these were for something that the wife was doing for a display for a baby shower shipping time wasn't bad either as far as costs it was comparable to the other one I don't know what else this seller sells but if they've got something you need I'd highly recommend them just for the shipping
