About us

Wuxtry Records is the oldest operating record store in Georgia. Locally owned and operated since 1976, it is where members of the band R.E.M. met when Pete Buck was an employee. Bizarro Wuxtry is a comic shop owned by the same proprietor. It has been open in Athens, GA, just over the record store, for over 30 years.
