The eBay listing described the clock as “Open Box - Item is in new condition, box damaged” and the photos showed what appeared to be a brand new clock. What I have received is a damaged, dirty clock that has obviously been subjected to rough handling and appears to have been hanging on a wall for a very long time. To make matters worse, the finial wasn't secured, possibly contributing to the damage and the protective bag was stuffed in one side of the box. This is unacceptable!
