Many of our parts are sold on EXCHANGE BASIS only. That means that buyer needs to send us his/her old part (core) to receive the purchased one. To speed up the process we ask customers to make a "core deposit". Core deposit is a $$ amount which may vary from 35 to 250. It depends on the item how much of the deposit is required. Not the fault of the seller in any way. ebay shipping firstly did not question the size of the parcel and it was returned. Parcel had to be split into two and dispatched. ebay then did not include correct documents and information for UK customs and caused a lot of problems in clearance. Not recommended to use ebay shipping method for high value international goods. Use only for small items.
