Due to the age of the item, the black grip deteriorated; once the protective plastic was removed, black stain got on everything that came into contact with it - not the seller's fault. This racquet is no longer manufactured. New over grip wrap and that covered the vast majority of the original black grip, but at the very end of the racquet the black seems to be staining the white over grip. Not seller's fault. Happy with item.
