While the pan was thankfully undamaged in shipping the box was crushed and destroyed. (I could remove the pan from the side without opening the box.) I suggest using a thicker multilayered cardboard and additional packaging material when shipping cast iron.

  This item was in perfect condition and protected well in the packaging. This is no fault of the sellers, but the shipping took almost 3 weeks to get here. There were basically no USPS updates after the first couple of days. It shouldn’t take them almost 3 weeks to get an item to me from the East Coast. But it got here because it was protected so well in the box. Great job to the seller.
