Probably one of the most innovative efforts at packing for shipping I've yet seen (um, psst!---guys at CTSells4Fun...the handle separates into two parts, held together with phillips-head screws...) Unit arrived in perfect working order, with a fresh bag inside, and still works like new! Gets the job done and then some. Our old vacuum (another Oreck) finally died after 25 years of faithful service, so it was buy this, or a $500 Dyson, and I definitely made the smarter choice!
