    I am from a family who is from a small village in Turkey in the middle Anatolia. My mother, When She was young, she had been making handmade rugs all in her life. My father was working in the field and my mother was making rugs as an income to our family. She was also teaching me how to make rugs. Handmade rug was in an important place for us like many other family in Turkey. After the years, my mother give up to make rug as most of the other women in Anatolia. Nowadays, there is almost no person who is making rugs.

    There were a few pieces of rug left from my family. One day, we need to sell them but I always want them to be bought from a person who knows what is handmade and who knows the value of vintage rugs. Because I know how difficult to make them, I know how many months it takes to make them.

    I believe that these rugs will go to the warm houses that they deserve.
