Have used the matte box extensively over the last month - It does it's job as a Matte box well, the swing-away locking mechanism, is of "questionable" quality. If you need the swing away feature, I recommend getting the DP500II Model. However the rest of it is well built, the doors, rods & mount all metal. Postage + the seller shipping item was fast. The Item arrived very well packaged.
