Romanoff Industries was founded in 1979 by Jack Romanoff Jr. after Jack’s successful motor repair company, REMS (Romanoff Electric Motor Service), was sold to Siemens Corporation. At the time of the sale, REMS Corporation had 14 facilities, in 12 cities, with over 400 employees. REMS Corporation provided motor repair services, coil manufacturing, and surplus/reconditioned equipment throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
