I am so happy that they decided to handle it this way. That is great customer service in my mind and I really appreciate them sending me a new one. After reading articles about this scam I tested all drives I've purchased from this seller over the last 6 months and all drives are clearly heavily used drives that have been manipulated to fraudulently appear new. I reached out to Weller and they are ghosting buyers who discover this. See other reviews with exact same problem. Ebay has been made aware and refuses to do anything about it.
