  I was aware from the seller that I was purchasing and open box item. The price reflected this status and I was happy to accept the risk. The item arrived quickly, very well packaged and exactly as described by the seller i.e. a damaged box but untouched contents. Purchasing online requires that the seller/buyer place trust in each other with, the platform (in this case eBay) acting as the referee.
