  The boxes were taped together with packing tape. They weren’t in the picture of the listing. I was going to give them as a gift to somebody so I wasn’t too happy about that. But the price was good and shipping was fast.

  I am very sorry. I usually tape them together to prevent damage during shipping. I guess this is not a good idea.
