About us
Hazer’s Auto & Truck Parts was started in 1967 by Lester and Ronald Hazer. It began as parts sales, repair, and as a wrecker service. Duane Hazer entered the business full time on June 1, 1974. He helped to expand the business to include a 23 acre lot of approximately 4200 trucks and vintage cars from the 1940’s through the 1970’s.
In 1989 the E-Z Crusher was purchased. This enabled Hazer’s to crush cars and appliances and has enabled metal recycling to become a large part of the daily operations of Hazer’s.
On July 9, 1995, a fire damaged and destroyed the office building. Despite this unfortunate setback, the building was enthusiastically rebuilt and computerized by the fall of that same year. Specialty racking was installed and a cement parking lot was installed.
In July 1997 we began operating our bailer. In the fall of that same year our teardown bays were expanded to create two new teardown bays both complete with new hoists.
