    Tripod was almost like new as advertised. The original box was worn and ripped, but the contents were undamaged. Also there was an Amazon return packing slip taped inside the box, indicating this was originally part of a Celestron CGEM II 800 EdgeHD telescope set that was returned. No issues with the tripod though. Good seller with good communications. I will buy more from them.
