  The laptop that I purchased was listed as Open Box, which is for new items perhaps without retail packaging. Also, the listing specifically stated that the item was not used. However, when I received it, the laptop had quite a number of very noticeable scratches on the cover. I requested a return, but the seller did not respond and eBay had to step in and help. Very disappointing and poor communication.
