About us

I paint in oils or watercolor or pen & ink. I love to create and paint, which I inherited from artistic parents. I was named after Howard Chandler Christy, a 20th century illustrator and distant relative. I attended the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art (NOAFA) and am self taught. I've exhibited in numerous local shows in Shreveport, exhibit my work in galleries, and continually work on many commissions. I love to capture the Louisiana culture as well as other subject matter that excites me. I like experimenting with my paintings, and trying new techniques.
