Not the case here, the models edges are crisp and sharp. They came extremely well packed. Each in bubble wrap in a box full of packing peanuts. Processing time took 4 days, shipping took 1. All as described in the item. Not sure I'll need more than 8 but if I do, I'll buy this one again!
