    The seller and I disagreed about the condition of the coin. It was my opinion, and that of my local lcs, that the coin was not in BU condition. In the end, they responded quickly and offered a solution that was directionally fair. I believe that not being able to examine the coin without voiding the return is not in the best interest of the buyer. That being said, it was clearly and fairly stated.

    A fair representation of our interaction from a thoughtful and honest customer. BU means it is brilliant (mint state) and uncirculated. Mint state is a range on the 70-point grading scale from 60 to 70. All our coins are shipped in brand-new, crystal-clear AirTite capsules, permitting inspection. For exchange requests, the capsule must be unopened, as stated in our listings. The customer opened the capsule. We nonetheless provided a courtesy credit - only the 3rd ever needed in 500+ sold.
