    Item is not same as appearance in the picture, does not operate like pictured 'disk-type' due to large temperature fluctuations 10-20 degrees F. The item in the picture was the item I expected. I did receive item of inferior value with a completely different appearance. At least I could keep my shop warm enough for the cat to survive, until I ordered and received the correct thermostat from another vendor. I spent 2x the price altogether to get item pictured elsewhere. Not recommended.

    You are correct, we are sorry for the trouble. The manufacturer (King Electric) recently started shipping this new thermostat version without the disk. We just updated our picture showing what is currently on our shelf and is currently shipping.
