    I needed the box. I had to have it. I have an up opened bottle from 1979. I made the mistake of storing it in a safe. The box mildewed and was ruined. I was lucky that the seal on the bottle was still intact. My bottle would be worth way less without the box. The box I received is in as good a shape as mine once was. I can use the empty bottle to store some JD. Really happy with the purchase.
