The item got lost in the mail and Raymond Russell, sent out another so I would get it before Christmas. That one got lost too, but that wasn't his fault. He kept in constant communication with me the whole way.

This exploded within 24h of arrival! I don’t know how because I bought it for my friend, but he described it making a strange noise for a little while before this occurred. If left unattended it could’ve been a major fire risk. In the end, he had to throw it away.
He was denied a refund. This could be the fault of him or of shipping, but the simple fact that this risk was left unnotified speaks volumes.

Anyone that uses eBay will know this is inaccurate feedback. Not only do we offer no cost returns on all items, the eBay Buyer Protection program would allow any merchandise like this to be returned or refunded. No request was made by anyone, but your "Friend" would have not been able to request a return. That is not how eBay works. The fan was in our office working as described for many years. We are sorry this did not work out for your "friend" we hope you find happiness in your life.
