    Seller contacted me to tell me they noticed damage to item I purchased, asked if I still wanted it. I did and we both agreed to take a few dollars off cause of the damage. Order was canceled to get refunded. Then relist with the discount that we agreed on, but only to relist with a higher shipping price so the discount would be pointless. Then said that the whole thing was becoming a hassle and then told me they were just going to donate the item. I was ghosted after that. Unbelievable.

    Seller’s description: “The base does not screw in tight, rethreading is probably needed.” What I actually received: The base hole was stripped, would not hold the screw and looked like somebody had tried super glue. Almost couldn’t be repaired, but had a professional braze the piece. The only thing I got out of this supposed Antique Dealer was “I’m Sorry” return it, after I had the repaired at my cost. Not recommended for misleading and half-truth statements in auction description.
