I initially screwed up the glue joint and the seller offered for me to send the belt back and he would re-skive the belt for my second glue attempt. Turns out the seller sent me back a NEW replacement belt. I was not expecting the seller to give me a new belt, but I am grateful. My old Southbend lathe with the original style laced belt ALWAYS slipped, no matter how tight it was tensioned. I am making bigger cuts than I have ever before. Buy with confidence!
