The Cheap Shop is a traditional Haberdashery store based in Tiptree, Essex, and specialises in Patchwork & Quilting Fabrics, Dressmaking Fabrics and Knitting Yarns.
We are a small, family-owned business that has been trading for over 50 years, with three generations of our family currently working together here.
We originally started as London market stall traders (hence our unusual name!) and over the years we morphed into a craft shop.
With 4500 square metres of shop to browse, we have well-stocked shelves and a whole variety of items from the basics to the more unusual.

Unfortunately the packaging was slightly damaged, a few cuts through the plastic in transit which was disappointing but I don’t think the actual wool has been affected as a result. The seller was able to provide 12 balls from the same dye & batch number & the order was dispatched very promptly which was appreciated.
