    Received this item promptly and well-packaged, but this cast iron stapler has a major component completely broken off, & wired together. While the photos do show the wire if you look closely, there was no disclosure in the listing about it being so badly broken & obviously unusable. Listing said condition as shown in photos & cannot guarantee that it works. I contacted the seller and he said he sold it as a decoration and photo showed condition. No apology or offer to resolve. Buyer Beware.

    The wire holding it together was disclosed in the 8 photographs of the piece in the listing. This is a 100+ year old stapler and was described as such and in an unknown operational condition. My very first response was that I was sorry they were unhappy and I pointed out that the flaws were well documented in the photographs. They did not ask for anything other than just stating they were disappointed about the clearly shown condition. Sellers Beware!
